Job description

Ministry of Crab is a premier seafood restaurant celebrating Sri Lanka’s iconic mud crabs and freshwater prawns. The restaurant has been one of only two restaurants from Sri Lanka to be recognized on the prestigious ‘Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants’ list (2015 – 2022). With international outposts in Colombo, Shanghai, Bangkok, Maldives, Chengdu, Mumbai, Melbourne and Kuala Lumpur.

We are seeking a talented and results‑driven individual with experience in the F&B (Food and Beverage) industry to play a key role in driving the growth of Ministry of Crab’s flagship outlet at Dempsey, Singapore.

What you will be doing:
  • Generate leads and opportunities by leveraging new and existing partners to drive engagement and increase revenue.
  • Identify and evaluate new revenue avenues such as corporate events, private dining, curated experiences and collaborations.
  • Identify and engage with concierge services, corporates, high net worth individuals, private member clubs, business associations and other social organizations to promote events and preferential offers.
  • Identify and engage with suitable KOL’s to create collaborations and visibility for Ministry of Crab.
  • Work closely with guests to understand their event requirements, preferences, and budget, and develop customized event proposals and packages that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Tailor, design, and successfully implement events that drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing/PR team to develop effective branding and marketing strategies to promote the restaurant’s offers and collaborative activities.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record (at least 3 years) in business development or sales within the F&B industry, with a focus on restaurants.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Strong networking and relationship‑building skills to establish partnerships and collaborations.
  • Able to show initiative and strong negotiation skills.
  • Creative and strategic thinking with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Take ownership and work within demanding targets.
  • Social Media experience would be advantageous.
