What You’ll Do
- Assist in maintaining the accounting books for entities
- Support timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and audit schedules
- Analyse monthly financial results, variance analyses and monitor key performance indicators
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Track and reconcile capex spend, digital development fees, and maintenance costs
- Assist in Corporate tax and GST reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on credit assessments, contract reviews, and financial modelling
- Support forecasting and budgeting plans
- Provide support to conceptualise and operationalise plans and processes
- Providing accounting advice and market insights to business users
- Provide financial insights for business cases and initiatives
- Liaise and coordinate with auditors on all engagements
- Explore automation and reporting enhancements using tools like Power BI and SAP
What You’ll Need
- Degree in Accountancy / Business from a reputable University
- Internship in relation to Big Four audit firms and / or commercial experience
- Strong foundation in financial principles and accounting standards
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Power Point and Word
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal and problem-solv ing skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solv ing skills
- Proactive, hands-on, resourceful and with an eye for details
- Effective team player, highly motivated and independent
- Familiarity with financial systems (, SAP, BPC, Power BI) and financial modelling is a plus
