What You’ll Do
  • Assist in maintaining the accounting books for entities
  • Support timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and audit schedules
  • Analyse monthly financial results, variance analyses and monitor key performance indicators
  • Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Track and reconcile capex spend, digital development fees, and maintenance costs
  • Assist in Corporate tax and GST reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on credit assessments, contract reviews, and financial modelling
  • Support forecasting and budgeting plans
  • Provide support to conceptualise and operationalise plans and processes
  • Providing accounting advice and market insights to business users
  • Provide financial insights for business cases and initiatives
  • Liaise and coordinate with auditors on all engagements
  • Explore automation and reporting enhancements using tools like Power BI and SAP
What You’ll Need
  • Degree in Accountancy / Business from a reputable University
  • Internship in relation to Big Four audit firms and / or commercial experience
  • Strong foundation in financial principles and accounting standards
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal and problem-solv ing skills
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Good analytical and problem-solv ing skills
  • Proactive, hands-on, resourceful and with an eye for details
  • Effective team player, highly motivated and independent
  • Familiarity with financial systems (, SAP, BPC, Power BI) and financial modelling is a plus
