Job Description

Under the NUS Artificial Intelligence Institute (NAII), we are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to manage the NAII seed grant calls and research projects hosted at the institute.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the seed grant calls, and related processes, launched up to 2 times in a year including disseminating announcement, addressing queries, facilitating evaluation and award of the grants
  • Oversee the seed grants disbursed including project amendment requests and yearly reports
  • Administer external research grants hosted at NAII
  • Undertake finance-related tasks as assigned including processing invoices and procurement
  • Perform covering duties for the Institute’s finance-related matters
  • In addition to the above, the candidate should perform other duties as assigned by the NAII Director.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Polytechnic Diploma holder, preferably 1-2 years of experience working with research grants in university settings
  • Good verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills with a positive work attitude
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word Excel, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong team player who is meticulous, resourceful, resilient and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • The employment will be an initial period of 2 years, with opportunity for renewal subject to performance
