JRS is seeking to hire an Executive Director, a leader who is visionary, mission-focused, results-oriented, a team builder, collaborator with a strong sense of stewardship.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Organization and Strategic Management

  • Work closely with the JRS Board, the Executive Director will craft organisational goals and develop strategies to fulfil the mission and vision

Operational Management

  • Lead and manage JRS team on the day- to- day operations, work together with volunteers towards impactful programme outcome
  • Accountable for operational and fiscal integrity of JRS
  • Ensure proper governance systems and practices

Resource Development

  • Raise Funds, explore and develop initiatives that are self- sustaining
  • Establish and build relationships with strategic partners in business, government and non- profit sectors
REQUIREMENTS
  • Senior management and leadership experience, preferred in the social space sector; with proven track record in working with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Previous fundraising experience and strong donor relations skills would be useful
  • Experience working with Boards, armed with knowledge of governance/compliance regulations
  • Experience working with NGOs or non-profits in serving refugees and displaced persons would be an advantage
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
