A community-focused non-profit organization in Singapore seeks a committed individual to manage community engagement programmes for children from disadvantaged families. You will ensure the effective implementation of innovative initiatives and foster relationships with partners and volunteers. The role requires a degree, relevant experience, and strong project management and communication skills. A compassionate approach to working with vulnerable children and families is essential.
TOUCH Young Arrows (TYA) is a non‑profit programme led by a committed team of volunteer mentors who conduct weekly Saturday programmes to meet children and youth's social, emotional, and educational needs, and to fulfil their potential. There are 24 TYA clubs in Singapore serving over 500 children and youth aged 5-14 years old from low-income and/ or single-parent families.
As part of the Community Engagement team, you will make TYA an innovative and sustainable model of improving the social mobility of young persons in Singapore. You will oversee programmes for children from disadvantaged families, and manage volunteers & partners, to ensure effective frontline & educational support in each local community.
