Who We Need

Job summary:

You will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the Business Office as one of the main touch points that deliver excellent patient experience through your interactions with patients, doctors, insurance companies and any other third parties on billing, admission and discharge matters.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Perform financial counseling, which includes an explanation of bill estimations and usage of Medishield Life/Medisave/private medical insurance claims.

  • Administer Pre-Admission, Admission and Discharge of patients such that patients’ information is accurately captured in the system and patients understand the process and bills.

  • Undertake collection of deposits and payments through various payment modes such as credit cards, cash, nets, etc., preparation of and processing insurance claims.

  • Follow up on the company/insurance’s Letter of Guarantees.

  • Ensure overall accuracy in managing patients’ information and transactions.

  • Handle enquiries and queries on admission, discharge bills/claims, and manage third-party payer relations.

  • Achieve overall efficiency and timeliness in attending to patients, doctors, third-party payers and insurance companies.
