Job summary

A financial services firm in Singapore is looking for a candidate to support deal teams on the execution of fundraising and secondary mandates. Responsibilities include preparing marketing and client reporting materials, assisting with financial analysis, and executing firm initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong academic background, familiarity with finance fundamentals, and excellent communication skills in English. This position requires multitasking and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • MAS regulated or passed relevant regulatory exams.
  • Finance fundamentals familiarity is advantageous.
  • Experience in investment banking or alternative investments is beneficial.

Job Purpose

Supporting respective deal teams on the execution of fundraising and secondary mandates, including but not limited to:

  • Preparation of marketing materials;
  • Preparation of client reporting materials;
  • Assisting on financial analysis;
  • Assisting on the execution of the Firm’s origination efforts, as required; and
  • Assisting on the execution of any other Firm initiatives, as required;
Candidate Profile
  • Strong academic background
  • MAS regulated / passed relevant regulatory exams - If not already held then the candidate would be expected to complete these qualifications shortly after arrival
  • Investment banking, secondaries advisory, primary fundraising, consulting or other alternative investments experience would be beneficial but not required
  • Familiarity with finance fundamentals
  • Well-developed Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English is the key for success in this role
  • Strong relationship management, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable dealing with people at all levels and able to provide effective and proactive support across business teams and geographic locations
  • Highly organised and efficient, able to multitask and prioritise own workload
  • Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines as required
  • Delivers to a very high quality with strong attention to detail
  • Team player with a high level of integrity, a positive “can-do” attitude and an eagerness to learn
