Execute end-to-end operations and delivery of specific event workstreams or programs within AWS's event portfolio. This role requires strong program management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality delivery. You will be responsible for implementing event strategies across various disciplines (e.g., content, operations, platforms, or specialized audience programs) and playing a key role in onsite execution during live events.

Program Management & Execution
  • Support the end-to-end delivery of assigned event workstreams or programs (examples: content operations, platform management, expo areas, audience-specific programs)
  • Manage day-to-day program activities, including timeline development and stakeholder coordination
  • Create and maintain project documentation and status reporting
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for successful delivery
  • Own specific onsite responsibilities during live events
Event Planning & Delivery
  • Implement standardized processes from the Event Center of Excellence
  • Coordinate event logistics within assigned workstream
  • Ensure consistent delivery quality across program elements
  • Support budget tracking and reconciliation
  • Manage onsite teams and vendors during event execution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during live events
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Act as primary liaison between stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams
  • Manage regular communications and status updates
  • Coordinate with regional teams to ensure local relevance while maintaining global standards
  • Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback
  • Support stakeholder needs during onsite execution
Operations & Measurement
  • Implement standard operating procedures and best practices
  • Support data collection and reporting for program metrics
  • Lead post-event analysis and documentation
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain program documentation and playbooks
About the team

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world‑class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission‑critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications
  • 4+ years of professional non‑internship marketing experience
  • Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing tasks
  • Experience with event AV and live event planning
  • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
  • 5+ years of experience in event management or related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in organizing events for content creators (e.g., education summits, booths at events)
  • Experience with technology industry events (3,000+ attendees)
  • Understanding of specific event disciplines (content, operations, platforms)
  • International event experience
  • Knowledge of event registration and marketing automation platforms
