Job summary

Job Title:

Event Sales Executive | Retail Events | Basic + Commission + Incentive

Our events bring together multiple vendors to create vibrant, engaging experiences for shoppers. Job Summary:

We are looking for a driven and hands‑on Event Sales Executive with ownership mindset, to drive and own the full spectrum of retail events from start to finish, with key focus in sales and vendor onboarding, to ensure events profitability and success are fully optimised and recurring.

The ideal candidate should have a good grasp of retail event management, including food & lifestyle fairs, thematic fairs, wagons sales, space rental etc, able to embrace its dynamics and possess great passion for it, must move things forward and make things happens!

Earn commission per profitable event and monthly Incentive when you meet your sales and event goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualise, propose, plan, market, onboard, coordinate, execute, manage and close events.

Event Planning & Administration
  • Assess event feasibility based on cost, space availability, and revenue potential.

  • Create and design event floor plans to optimize event occupancy, vendor visibility and customer flow.

  • Prepare event proposal, quotations, manage event sales and profit and loss.

  • Generate invoices, follow up on payments, and maintain financial records.

  • Ensure timely permit and document submission.

  • Keep all event‑related documents organized and up‑to‑date, which includes event photos, vendors booking, event calendar & schedule management

Sales & Marketing
  • Drive and own vendor sourcing, onboarding and deal closing to fill event spaces and confirm events booking.

  • Set and achieve event sales target, vendor onboarding and event occupancy goals for each event.

  • Event social media posting.

  • Build strong relationships with vendors to drive repeat participation.

  • Liaise with mall management to secure event dates and explore growth opportunities.

Event Operations & Coordination
  • Prepare & coordinate events logistics, including signage request.

  • Lead and supervise event setup, pack‑up, on‑ground execution, contractor and vendor coordination.

  • Be the main point of contact for vendors, mall management, and contractors.

  • Resolve operational issues swiftly to maintain a high event standard.

  • Ensure good vendor management and mall management satisfaction.

  • Conduct post‑event reviews and suggest improvements.

Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in organizing retail events such as food and lifestyle fair, wagons sales, space rental or similar role in other events management setting.

  • Diploma or degree holder in Events Management, Retail or Business Management or related field.

  • Willing to work late hours on events setup & pack‑up nights, weekends & PH, in accordance to events schedule & needs.

  • Able to write & converse in English and Mandarin, due to type of clients served.

  • Knowledge of using Microsoft Office, OneNote, Outlook, Xero and Canva.

  • Knowledge of photo, video editing, social media marketing is a plus.

  • High sense of ownership, accountability, and drive for results.

  • Positive attitude with strong interpersonal & problem solving skills.

  • Excellent communications and organizational skills.

  • Good administrative & coordination skill.

  • Service and target oriented, passionate about event management.

  • A team player who is efficient, resourceful and meticulous.

  • Able to multi‑task and work independently under a fast paced environment with tight deadlines and minimum supervision.

  • Organized, resourceful, and able to work independently in a small team environment.

  • Prior experience with thematic events is a plus.

Remuneration:
  • Basic $3,000

  • 1% Commission for fully in‑charged and profitable events. Approx $50 – $150 per event, target around 4‑6 events monthly, depending on individual performance and achievement.

  • Incentive for achieved monthly target.

  • Year end performance bonus.

  • Remuneration will commensurate with relevant experience & contribution and be offered to suitable candidates.

Work hours, location & leave:
  • 5.5 days or 44 hours.

  • Work at kaki Bukit and various events sites.

  • 12 days annual leave.
