Job summary

A global event agency in Singapore is seeking an event producer to manage a variety of corporate events. The role involves client management, overseeing project logistics, budget management, and creative input. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in event production, strong communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in project management tools. This position requires flexibility, as it often involves coordinating with teams across different time zones and a strong understanding of APAC markets.

Job description

Our client is a global event agency with a fantastic culture and portfolio of clients. They are looking for an event producer for their team in Singapore to focus on a wide variety of events for their corporate clients. Are you looking for a great events environment and the opportunity to work on exciting regional events in APAC? This role could be for you!

Client Management
  • Act as the main liaison for clients throughout the full event cycle, taking ownership of the relationship or supporting as part of the wider project team.
  • Develop strong, professional client partnerships by understanding their goals, anticipating upcoming needs, and ensuring all queries are handled promptly.
  • Provide clear updates on project scope, budgets, timeline expectations, deliverables, and responsibilities so clients always know where things stand.
  • Offer guidance and recommendations by drawing on industry expertise, helping clients make informed decisions and elevating the overall event experience.
Project Management
  • Take charge of multiple events from concept development through to planning, on‑site execution, and post‑event evaluation.
  • Oversee all logistical elements, including venue research, supplier management, accommodation blocks, catering, AV and staging, event tech, staffing requirements, transportation, branding, security, and merchandise sourcing.
  • Build and consistently maintain detailed project timelines, operational guides, status documents, and meeting materials for both internal teams and clients.
  • Lead or contribute meaningfully to internal reviews and client‑facing meetings to drive progress and alignment.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts, manage deliverables, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Ensure all agreed service levels are met, and quality standards are upheld at every stage of production.
  • Support pitch efforts through research, ideas, writing, and presenting when needed.
Budget Management
  • Build accurate and competitive budgets for both proposals and confirmed projects.
  • Monitor financial performance throughout planning to ensure budgets remain on track.
  • Deliver clear financial reporting to clients and complete reconciliations promptly after each event.
  • Identify ways to maximize value and cost savings by working strategically with trusted suppliers.
Creative Management
  • Participate in ideation sessions to help generate innovative event concepts.
  • Stay informed about new industry developments, technologies, and suppliers, and share insights with the team.
  • Attend industry exhibitions, showcases, and events to discover fresh inspiration and strengthen market knowledge.
  • Recommend creative approaches or new production techniques that can enhance client outcomes or streamline internal processes.
Experience & Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience in events, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Strong command of project management processes, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Background in delivering corporate meetings, product activations, and experiential programmes.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and partners at all levels.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident in negotiating contracts and managing project‑related risks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable about AV setups used in event environments.
  • Creative, resourceful, and able to think on your feet when issues arise.
  • Demonstrates composure under pressure and can adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple workloads.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and collaborative.
  • Open to travel when required.
  • Comfortable coordinating across global teams and different time zones.
  • Strong understanding of key APAC markets, suppliers, and venues.
  • Experience working on international events is an advantage.
  • Able to collaborate confidently with colleagues at different seniority levels.
  • Familiarity with CRM or project collaboration tools.
    Experience working alongside technical crews, production specialists, and creative partners.
