Job summary

A healthcare service provider in Singapore is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide phone and on-site support for computer hardware and network issues. The ideal candidate should have a Higher Nitec or Diploma in Computer/Electronic Engineering and preferably at least one year of relevant experience. Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • To provide phone and on-site support for computer hardware, applications and network related issues of Head office and clinics

  • Ensure new PCs and IT peripherals deployed are in working conditions else rectification to be done

  • Perform installation, setup, configuration, diagnostic, migration, upgrading and maintenance of Desktop PC/Laptops, OS, Application, software and related IT peripherals

  • Troubleshoot networking and connection issues

  • Ensure the accuracy of the asset information such as all are tagged and recorded

  • Maintain and update of computer peripheral devices and software inventory of the company

  • Respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties

  • Perform service request related to client platforms

  • Perform user account management (e.g., Create password, reset & delete)

  • Perform follow-up with vendor on replacement of hardware

  • To assist IT manager for smooth IT support operation

  • Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by superior

Job Requirements
  • Candidate with minimum Higher Nitec, Diploma Certification in Computer/Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline

  • Preferably with 1 or more years related experience in Technology Administration. Some network knowledge will be an advantage

  • Computer literacy in MS Office

  • Proficiency in Technology will be added advantage

  • Independent, resourceful, result-oriented individuals with a "can-do" attitude
