Job description

Dyson Singapore is currently looking for an Equipment Technician to be based in our Singapore Advanced Manufacturing facility located in Pioneer to support our automated manufacturing lines.

About the role

Provide first level trouble shooting & resolve production stoppages due to equipment issues

Document & report all line stoppages due to equipment or technical issue.

Perform process control checks where applicable. Minimize equipment downtime & ensure production meets target output & yield.

Provide technical support to production operation in meeting output & quality.

Participate in line set-up activities.

Ensure workstations are in excellent 5S housekeeping condition.

Work with engineers & production in continuous improvement projects.

About you

At least 3 years of work experience in an automated line environment. ITC or Diploma in Mechatronic/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering – minimum requirement

Experience in servo motors and intelligent PC’s is an added advantage

Ability to distinguish between coloured wires, signals, indicators, or labels, which is required and critical for safe performance of duties.

Flexibility and initiative. You pre-empt problems and seize opportunities without waiting to be told.

Collaborative working. You consistently share your knowledge and findings with others in a clear and accessible way.

Willing to work shifts and overtime. Passion for solving and resolving issues.
