Senior/ Application Engineer (Process)

Our client is a leading organisation specialised in developing Semiconductor machines. They are currently seeking a Senior/ Application Engineer (Process).

Responsibilities

• Define and Document Equipment process requirement and specification.
• Perform Process characterization to optimize critical process paths in order to meet equipment specification.
• Review, simplify and optimize Internal Buy Off specification for equipment together with Quality Assurance Department.
• Participate in continuous process improvement activities to enhance Equipment capability.
• Support Equipment manufacturing activities by helping to trouble-shoot and resolve process-related issues.
• Support other internal departments to handle customers’ process related issues and recommend technical solutions.
• Perform data analysis using statistical techniques and conduct process capability studies.
• Transfer process knowledge to in house Engineers and Technicians to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Equipment UPH projection calculation base on specific process parameter.

Requirements

• Degree in Production / Mechanical / Material Science Engineering.
• 1-5 years experience in an equipment manufacturing environment with a process engineering background. Senior position is available for candidates with more years of experience.
• Strong interest in the development of new manufacturing processes.
• Experience in process design and control in the area of Die‑Sorter process.
• Knowledge in Material Science will be added advantage.
• Knowledge in cycle time calculation.
• Trained in SPC, DOE and other statistical tools.
• Able to travel overseas when required (duration is about a week).
