A prominent multinational corporation in Singapore is searching for an EHS Lead to drive the development and implementation of EHS policies and foster a strong safety culture. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Engineering, preferably Civil, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in EHS roles within the construction sector. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations, leading incident investigations, and implementing risk management strategies. This role offers an attractive salary package up to SGD 8,000 plus variable bonuses.

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Lead:

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of company-wide EHS policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Drive a strong safety-first culture by embedding EHS excellence into all operational and site activities.
  • Collaborate closely with site management, EHS teams, and stakeholders to achieve EHS targets across all projects.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company EHS requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory updates, liaise with authorities, and advise management on regulatory impacts and compliance strategies.
  • Oversee and support site inspections, audits, and authority visits; review findings and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead incident and accident investigations, including internal and external case reviews, and implement procedural improvements.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks and mitigation strategies.
  • Champion EHS digitalisation initiatives, including data collection, analytics, and performance reporting across sites.
  • Plan, implement, and oversee EHS training programs for staff, workers, and subcontractors, ensuring proper documentation and onboarding compliance.
  • Represent the company in industry forums, stakeholder meetings, and safety-related engagements.
  • Organise EHS campaigns, initiatives, and recognition programs to strengthen safety awareness and culture.
  • Maintain strong communication with corporate management and project teams to align EHS strategies with operational needs.
  • Proactively identify operational risks and conflicts between EHS requirements and site execution, driving timely resolution.
Job Requirements
  • Preferably a Registered Professional Engineer (Civil) with a valid PE Practising Certificate.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Structural) or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant EHS experience in the construction industry, including hands‑on involvement in site safety management, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and implementation of EHS policies for building projects.
  • Strong, comprehensive knowledge of EHS management systems and standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
  • Proven experience in environmental compliance, OSHA regulations, sustainability, occupational health & safety, risk assessment, and industrial hygiene.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
  • Highly accountable, proactive, and forward‑thinking, with the ability to respond decisively to EHS challenges.
  • Data‑driven mindset with experience leveraging metrics and analytics to improve safety performance.
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail in identifying and managing site safety risks.

  • Salary: Up to SGD 8,000 + VB (1‑2 Months)
  • Working Location: Kallang
  • Working Hours: 5 Days Work, 8:30am - 6pm
