In this role, you will report to the Head of Risk and Compliance. Responsible for providing a holistic enterprise risk perspective while maintaining domain-specific risk and compliance oversight and assurance across technology, data and third party/outsourcing risk, ensuring that robust risk and compliance frameworks are implemented across the Company.

Job Description
  • Ensure alignment with group compliance and risk frameworks.
  • Advise business units on compliance issues, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain and execute the annual compliance plan, ensuring timely completion of activities.
  • Exercise oversight on third party and outsourcing risk, ensuring alignment with internal frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Support and coordinate independent assurance reviews of outsourced activities performed by intragroup entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Review and reassess the scope of work in outsourcing arrangements to ensure robust risk and compliance oversight, and define, monitor, and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) related to outsourcing and third-party risk, enabling proactive risk management and timely escalation of emerging issues.
  • Oversee and provide independent challenge and assurance on technology, cyber and data risks from second line perspective.
  • Supporting and advise compliance with regulatory requirements on technology risk management and cyber resilience in line with regulatory expectations.
  • Monitor and report on IT/data risk issues, incidents, and remediation status to governance forums.
  • Conduct risk-based reviews to validate control design and effectiveness. Perform risk and control self-assessments (RCSA) and control testing to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Support projects, reviews, and initiatives as directed by the Head of Risk and Compliance.
Who we are looking for
  • Experience in regulated financial institutions / insurance, with strong regulatory knowledge and risk management expertise.
  • Excellent communicator, ability to translate regulatory requirements and communicating risk issues clearly to the business.
  • Nimble and flexible to change, able to adapt to fast-paced and changing situations.
  • Highly detail-oriented and meticulous with strong assurance mindset.
Working Experience
  • 5–8 years’ experience in risk and/or compliance roles. Exposure to the Financial Advisers sector, regulatory compliance, and risk management are highly valuable.
  • Strong knowledge and familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g. MAS Guidelines on outsourcing, technology risk and other relevant regulations) and risk governance frameworks.
  • Experience in third-party risk, technology risk and data risk assurance reviews.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder & project management skills.
Education
  • Degree in any discipline.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in risk or compliance.
