About Write Edge

At Write Edge, we specialise in providing high-quality English and Writing tuition classes for Primary and Secondary school students in Singapore. The English enrichment centre was founded in 2014 with a vision to deliver exceptionally effective lessons that help to build a strong foundation in the English language and nurture writing skills in young students. From just 12 students and 1 branch in Lorong Ah Soo, Singapore, Write Edge has since expanded to 7 physical branches, 1 online arm called WELearn and also offer online classes to students in Malaysia. With decades of combined teaching, curriculum and education management experience, we’ve got a well-seasoned team at the helm. English and Writing Teacher (1 or 2 Year Contract)

Join Our Team: Inspire Young Minds as a Specialist English and Writing Teacher! Multiple locations across Singapore, new branches opening! Salary Range: $3500 - $4500

As a Specialist English and Writing Teacher, You Will:

• Lead small-group classes (up to 8 students) using our structured and proventeaching materials and lesson protocols.
• Mark student work and provide feedback to support their learning.
• Communicate with parents professionally to share student updates and address any concerns.
• Collaborate on curriculum enhancements and contribute to special projects, allowing you to showcase your creativity and ideas.

We’re Seeking Educators Who:

• Demonstrate strong English proficiency and communication skills (minimum B3 in English Language for O Levels / A Levels).
• Has a natural ability to engage and support children in their learning. Prior teaching experience is a bonus.
• Understands and is familiar with the Singaporean curriculum and assessment systems.
• Bring a positive and responsible mindset. Shows initiative, a strong work ethic and growth mindset.
• Available to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays and can travel between Write Edge centres when needed.
