Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring high-quality production. The ideal candidate should be proficient in reading technical drawings and programming CNC machines using Auto CAD. This role provides great learning opportunities and requires effective communication in Mandarin with the team. Regular working hours and transportation are provided from Boon Lay and Choa Chu Kang.

Responsibilities

Job description

1) Set up and operate the CNC machines according to production order and drawings required.

2) Read and interpret technical / engineering documents: Understand technical / engineering drawings to determine the correct machining processes and tooling.

3) Raw materials: Request raw materials based on production orders required. Maximised raw materials usage. Ensure the raw material onto CNC machines in a correct position.

4) Input programming instructions and utilize Auto CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to define cutting paths, speeds, and feed rates.

5) Quality control: Inspect finished products based on the engineering drawings, ensuring all dimensions required meet specifications within the tolerances.

6) Documentation: Ensure all processed production orders are properly filled up with products measurement and filed.

7) Ensure the packing of finished good is in safe and good condition.

8) Perform regular basic maintenance for CNC machines and tooling.

9) Maintain cleanliness of machines and workplace.

10) Identify safety issues and report to Supervisor and/or Safety Officer.

11) Assist with other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.
