About the Role

We are supporting a leading energy organization in Singapore as they strengthen their Engineering & Operations capabilities. The Senior Engineering Manager will oversee multi-discipline engineering across oil, gas and LNG assets, driving reliability, integrity and technical excellence across ongoing operations and brownfield/greenfield projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary engineering activities (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process) across operating energy assets.
  • Provide Technical Authority (TA) oversight for engineering standards, maintenance strategies and asset integrity programs.
  • Support the execution of brownfield modification projects, plant upgrades and reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee design reviews, HAZOP/HAZID, technical risk assessments and engineering governance processes.
  • Serve as technical interface for EPC contractors, OEM vendors and regulatory bodies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in asset performance, safety, sustainability and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop engineering teams, ensuring strong competency and succession planning.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related engineering discipline.
  • 12–18+ years of engineering leadership experience within oil & gas, LNG terminals, petrochemicals, refining or energy infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance, reliability, integrity management and plant operations.
  • Proven experience managing EPC/EPCM partners and leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence technical and operational outcomes.
