Job description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with project consultants, key stakeholders, and government agencies on the design of various Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) facilities, ensuring all construction and installation work meets design specifications and statutory requirements.
• Participating in the testing and commissioning of mechanical, process, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems.
• Attending Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) to verify and validate the quality and performance of major equipment and systems.
• Working with a team of technical specialists, coordinating maintenance work between contractors and the facility’s maintenance sections to ensure safe, smooth, and efficient operations.
• Implementing preventive maintenance and overhaul programs for the facility’s electrical and control equipment, including turbo-generators, motors, switchgear, low and high-tension equipment, distributed control systems, and field instruments.
• Assisting in the development and preparation of standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and equipment testing/changeover programs.
• Performing shift work if required.

Requirements:

• Professional certifications such as Licensed Electrical Worker, Boiler Attendant Certificate, or Workplace Safety and Health Officer are advantageous.
• Strong technical background with excellent analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Navisworks and Primavera P6 is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Able to work in rotating shift work, including weekends and public holidays when necessary.
