What You Will Do

• Deliver Facilities operation & engineering services, building/office space management services, and facilities equipment asset maintenance management to enable manufacturing operations.
• Operate, monitor and maintain, troubleshoot, repair and replace facilities mechanical components and systems such as electrical equipment, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), chemical, energy, ultra water & waste water treatment.
• Hire and oversee outside contractors such as electricians, elevator repairmen, grounds maintenance workers, painters, plumbers and roofers.
• Maintain and secure facilities equipment asset.
• Develop and implement capital improvement projects, such as construction, remodeling, renovation, and maintenance of buildings and facilities, including preliminary concept development, detailed engineering design and bidding.
• Conduct periodic inspections of work in progress and advise construction supervisors and contractors on plans and specifications.
• Inspect existing facilities and prepare reports on the condition, deficiencies observed, designs necessary for repairs and estimated cost of repairs.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
• Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed.

What You Will Need

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical & Controls / Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of work experience in facilities manager.
