A leading engineering consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a Civil and Structural Engineer to oversee and design various engineering works. The ideal candidate should possess a recognized engineering degree, have experience in structural projects, and be proficient with relevant design software. Qualifications

• Possess a degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and supervise C&S engineering works (e.g. buildings, roads, drains, sewers, earthworks, underground buildings, temporary structures).
• Perform analysis and design for the project.
• Supervise the drafting of drawings related to design.
• Ensure all engineering works comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice.
• Manage project stakeholders, clients, design team, site team and other relevant parties.
• Coordinate with contractors, project team and design consultants.

Requirements

• Possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• Prior working experiences in structural engineering projects preferred.
• Familiar with structural engineering design to local Codes, Regulations and requirements,and Eurocode.
• Well verse in structural design software, e.g. ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP 2000, MIDAS, etc.
• Familiar with authority submission requirements for civil-structural works.
• Experience in design/project management works in BIM.
• Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedure and construction administration.
