A leading construction materials company in Singapore is seeking a motivated individual to manage and grow a portfolio of B2B accounts. The role involves conducting site visits, providing technical advice on material specifications, preparing quotations, and ensuring smooth order processing. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or higher in a relevant field, with 1–3 years of technical sales experience preferred. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with comfort in site work.
Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B accounts (main contractors, sub-contractors, fabricators, installers, etc.).
Conduct site visits to understand project requirements and propose suitable building material solutions.
Provide technical advice (e.g., material specifications, application, compliance/approval requirements where applicable).
Prepare and follow up on quotations, product submissions, and supporting technical documents (catalogues, datasheets, method/installation guidance where relevant).
Liaise with internal teams (operations/logistics/warehouse/accounts) to ensure smooth order processing, delivery scheduling, and after‑sales support.
Track sales pipeline and customer interactions in CRM; meet monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to support business growth.
Handle customer feedback/quality issues professionally and coordinate resolution.
Diploma and above (e.g., Civil/Mechanical/Building/Construction Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline).
Preferably 1–3 years of B2B technical sales experience (construction/building materials industry).
Fresh graduates with relevant internship/industry exposure may be considered.
Comfortable with site work and meeting customers on project locations.
Able to interpret basic drawings/specifications and translate technical needs into commercial proposals.
Strong communication, negotiation, and follow‑up discipline.
Experience selling building materials (structural/architectural/scaffolding‑related products).
Familiar with CRM tools, MS Excel, and quotation processes.
Valid Class 3 driving licence (preferred).
Ability to communicate in English; Mandarin/Malay/Tamil is an advantage (to liaise with a diverse customer base).
