Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise Sanitary, Plumbing, and Gas services works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and coordinate shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Update and maintain as-built drawings using AutoCAD for Plumbing, Sanitary, Gas, RWDP, Dry Riser, Wet Riser, and Hose reel systems.
• Prepare method statements, work procedures, and technical documentation required for project execution.
• Monitor site activities to ensure construction progress is in accordance with the project schedule.
• Conduct cost estimation, technical evaluation, and assessment for Sanitary, Plumbing, and Gas works.
• Coordinate with authorities, consultants, architects, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Attend site inspections, coordination meetings, and audits by consultants or authorities.
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders (VO), work reports, and safety documentation.
• Assist the Project Manager in supervising works and resolving site issues.
• Supervise subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Ensure all works comply with statutory regulations, safety standards, and HDB requirements.
• Track material usage, equipment, and site resources for reporting and cost control.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies or design issues.
• Assist in tender submissions and technical documentation when required.
• Maintain proper project records, site diaries, and progress documentation.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with HDB projects in Singapore is required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of tendering processes, cost estimation, and analysis for Sanitary/Plumbing/Gas works is an advantage.
• Good understanding of Singapore construction codes, HDB standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera will be an added advantage.
• WSQ Safety or Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) certification is preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and manage site challenges.
• Willing to attend to urgent site matters outside normal working hours when required.
• 6-day work week.
