Job summary

The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of relevant experience and possess certifications like ACLS and ITLS. Responsibilities

  • Provide transportation for ill or injured persons in ambulance vehicles.

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the ambulance and medical supplies.
  • Lead ambulance crew daily and ensure compliance with protocols.

Job description
Overview

Provides advanced emergency medical care for ill or injured persons by taking the lead at the location with a focus on cardiovascular and respiratory systems and in providing pre-hospital life support.

Responsibilities
  • Provides transportation for ill or injured persons, to, from, and between treatment facilities, in specially equipped ambulance vehicles, as directed by the MOH Standards
  • Provides effective patient assessment and treatment according to standards and protocols to level of certification.
  • Prepares various reports including Ambulance Call Reports, Incident/Occurrence Reports, Vehicle Checklists and other reports as deemed appropriate by the Ministry of Health.
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of ambulance; stocks vehicle medical supplies; reports any missing or malfunctioning equipment and vehicle defibrillator to the Supervisor.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of; stocks medical supplies and equipment, as appropriate.
  • Interacts with members of the health care team, allied emergency care providers, the public and patients in a professional manner.
  • Communicates with receiving hospitals to ensure they are advised of status and location at all times.
  • Collaborates with medical staff and allied emergency care providers to facilitate timely treatment and support to the client's family and friends during the time of emergency care.
  • Lead the ambulance crew in the daily duties and operations as outlined in the standard operating protocols
  • Ensure the compliance of the ambulance crew with the standard operating protocols.
Requirements

  • Highly organized and dedicated, with a positive
  • Relevant working experience minimum 10 years.
  • Must possess ACLS, ITLS, and National Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Provider.
  • Must be ready to work on Sun/PH.
  • Must able to respond on Emergency calls 24/7.
  • Off day will be not necessary on weekend.
  • Must have knowledge on ISO Accreditation.
