Job description

The client is a pioneer and a global leader in the design and manufacture of smartcard connectors, inlays and led light sources based on highly automated processes resulting in most competitive assembly costs for its customers.

Location: Changi

Working Hours: Regular Office Hours

Responsibilities

• Electrical Installation & Maintenance
  Perform and supervise electrical installations, cabling, and electrical panel works in compliance with SS638, SS650 and EMA regulations.
• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
  Maintain electrical systems for production lines, HVAC, lighting, and power distribution to minimize downtime.
• Statutory Compliance
  Ensure all works meet EMA licensing requirements and relevant Singapore standards.
• Team Leadership
  Guide and supervise technicians; allocate tasks and verify quality and safety compliance.
• Safety & Risk Management
  Conduct risk assessments for electrical tasks; develop and implement Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) per WSH guidelines.
• Documentation & Reporting
  Maintain records of inspections, test reports, permits, compliance documentation and electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Valid EMA Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW preferred, Electrician/ Technician class) preferred
• NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing electrical systems
• Familiarity with SS 638, WSH Risk Management Code, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO)
