Job summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems to ensure operational safety and efficiency. You should possess a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and ideally have 2–3 years of experience. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in various environments are essential. Familiarity with local electrical codes is required. The role may require working overtime or on shifts.

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety in accordance with electrical codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and components in accordance with local regulations and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in control panels, motors, lighting, and other equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and calibrations on electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures during work execution.
  • Document all repair and maintenance activities accurately.
  • Assist engineers or supervisors in implementing upgrades or modifications.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and support operations teams when required.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant working experience in electrical maintenance or installation (fresh graduates may also be considered for junior roles).
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and use electrical tools and testing equipment.
  • Familiarity with local electrical codes and workplace safety practices.
  • Physically fit and willing to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including at heights if necessary.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Willingness to work overtime or on shifts if required.
  • Possession of a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification is an added advantage (if applicable).
