Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in EHS within facilities management or healthcare, be a registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer, and possess excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM.
  • Proactive, independent, and able to work under pressure.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Officer to join our team at a healthcare facility under Integrated Facilities Management (IFM). This role ensures compliance with WSH and environmental regulations while driving a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities
  • Advise on statutory duties under the WSH Act and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct risk assessments, aspect-impact analysis, and implement control measures.
  • Maintain EHS management system documentation and enforce standards.
  • Monitor and report EHS performance, including incident investigations.
  • Assist in emergency response planning and drills.
  • Conduct EHS audits and recommend improvements.
  • Qualify contractors and suppliers for compliance with EHS standards.
  • Organize EHS training and outreach programs for site staff.
  • Support ad-hoc EHS initiatives as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in Facilities Management or healthcare.
  • Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM.
  • Strong knowledge of WSH Act and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to organize and deliver EHS training.
  • Preferred: Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification.
  • Proactive, independent, and able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong safety mindset.
