Overview

Being an Educator at Indigo

We are a fast-growing company, and we are seeking dynamic and engaging tutors of all subjects to join our academic team. If you are passionate about education and possess a nurturing mindset, we want you! Coaching will be provided by our senior tutors to ensure that you are well-trained in our curriculum and pedagogy.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver lessons in a dynamic and engaging manner
  • Assist in the planning and development of lesson resources and materials
  • Prepare for lessons (including any appropriate teaching aids and resources) and grade student assessments
  • Create and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment for students, always safeguarding their safety and health
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with students and parents
  • Provide timely formative and summative feedback to students to help them realise their potential
  • Assess and report on the development, behaviour, performance, and progress of students when necessary
  • Attend department and curriculum meetings on a weekly basis
  • Participate in marketing events and trial classes when required
Qualifications
  • Degree in teaching subject applied for, or in a related field
  • Dynamic and confident, with an approachable disposition
  • Excellent communication (spoken and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player who can work well with others
  • Able to work on both weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Prior teaching experience in MOE schools preferred
