Job summary

A leading educational organization in Singapore is looking for an Early Intervention Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and using behavioral therapy principles. Candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of relevant experience, as training will be provided. The role offers a full-time position with a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

Position Title: Early Intervention Teacher
Working Location: Paya Lebar
Working Hours: 5 days (Mon - Fri: 8am - 5.30pm / 8.30am - 6pm)
Salary Package: Basic salary + AWS + Performance Bonus
Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Study client's behaviour and apply behavioral therapy principles.
  • Develop individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student.
  • Implement IEPs, assess students\' performance and track their progress.
  • Update IEPs throughout the school year to reflect student\'s progress and goals.
  • Manage a group of students with a ratio of 1:4-5 kids with other teachers in the class.
  • Be able to recognize and respond to critical improvements in students\' behaviours.
  • Become familiar with and use behavioural redirection techniques
  • Know how to respond to negative behaviours appropriately.
  • Provide written documentation on each student.
  • Communicate progress with managers and parents.
Qualifications
  • Candidates without relevant experience are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
  • Must have at least Nitec in Special Education, Education of Psychology.
  • Good understanding of best practices in inclusive and special education to support diverse learners.
  • Able to start immediately.
