Job Position:

Desk Top Publishing Page & Cover Designer / Layout Artist for books

You are responsible for converting raw manuscripts into ready-to-print form, in preparation for printing and publishing. You must have an eye for detail and a deep understanding of typography, design principles, and other related concepts.

Job Duties:

• Page design/layout from raw scripts (text and images) to ready-to-print formats
• Working and communicating with editors and authors to ensure that the design/layout meets their requirements.
• In-office admin work and other related duties
• Communication with vendors

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, etc.
• Fluency in using AI tools
• Minimum 3 years experience in related position
• Creative, meticulous, careful, patient
• Good temperament
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
