Job summary

A telecommunications consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to conduct Drive/Walk Tests for 5G, 4G, and 3G telecom products. Qualifications

Job description

Plans, delivers, and executes Drive/Walk Test activities to provide services directly and indirectly to internal and external customers.

Understanding of RF theory and cellular theory.

Experience in using RF testing equipment, e.g., TEMS, Nemo, Actix, vector network analyzers, signal generators. TEMS experience is preferred.

Responsible for Drive Test data collection activities for Telecom Products 5G, 4G, and 3G.

Coordinate with NPO team and field teams during activities if required.

Understand customer requirements and take the lead to provide appropriate responses with solutions and recommendations.

Prepare and deliver drive/walk test activities according to methodology.

Perform acceptance drive/walk tests with customers if required.

Ability to perform Drive/Walk Test activities related to preparation, setup, problem solving, providing recommendations, and working independently. This includes complex problem solving in projects with performance requirements and a multi-vendor environment.

Perform drive/walk test activities as per schedule or plan.

Share key learnings and project documentation within the technical community.

Contribute actively and share knowledge transfer within internal and customer teams.

Work across several technology areas with intermediate to advanced skills or specialize in one area at an advanced level. Responsibilities include:

• Coaching others on the use of design and measurement tools, including troubleshooting tools.
• Assessing drive test KPIs and requirements to achieve KPI targets.
• Monitoring KPI achievement during drive tests.
• Supporting NPO technical issues related to KPI analysis.
• Scripting and software skills, familiarity with testing software.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in 3G/4G and 1+ year in 5G, with experience in drive testing.
