The Role: Draftsperson

This is a critical full-time role for a highly skilled and technically proficient Draftsperson to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be instrumental in translating design concepts and site requirements into highly accurate and compliant construction drawings, ensuring all technical documentation meets Singapore's stringent building standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Drafting & Detailing: Produce comprehensive 2D and 3D technical drawings, including detailed floor plans, furniture layouts, elevation plans, sections, and isometric views.

• M&E Coordination: Prepare and integrate Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) layouts into interior drawings, coordinating with M&E engineers to prevent clashes and ensure services are correctly planned.
• 3D Visualisation: Develop 3D models and high-quality renderings for client presentations and internal design reviews.
• Compliance & Submission: Ensure all drawings strictly comply with local building codes, BCA submission requirements, and architectural documentation standards in Singapore.
• Documentation: Assist in preparing and managing complete sets of architectural and construction documentation for project execution and regulatory approval.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Interior Designers, Project Managers, Architects, and on‑site construction teams to refine plans and resolve technical detailing issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

Expert Proficiency in technical drafting software, including:

*AutoCAD (Mandatory): For 2D detailed construction and shop drawings.

*SketchUp: For rapid 3D modeling and conceptualisation.

*3ds Max (Latest Version) or Coolhom/Equivalent: For high-quality 3D rendering and visualisations.

*Strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles, with a focus on interior construction and joinery detailing.

*Proven attention to detail and accuracy in creating complex technical and shop drawings.

Mandatory Singapore‑Specific Requirements

*Prior Experience: Essential experience in preparing architectural and interior drawings in compliance with Singapore code and regulatory requirements.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related technical field.
• Previous experience in a similar drafting role, preferably within the architecture, interior construction, or A&A industries.
