A leading beverage solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a Draft Beer Line Technician to install and maintain draft beer systems, ensuring optimal quality and hygiene. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, cleaning, and educating bar staff on proper operations. Ideal candidates should have mechanical skills and a diploma or technical certification. Experience with draft systems is preferred but training can be provided. The role may require on-site visits, hence a valid driver’s license is necessary.
The Draft Beer Line Technician is responsible for installing, cleaning, maintaining, and troubleshooting draft beer systems to ensure optimal product quality and a consistent, premium drinking experience. This role works across bars, restaurants, and event venues, ensuring draft lines operate efficiently and meet industry hygiene and safety standards.
Perform scheduled cleaning of draft beer lines following industry-standard procedures.
Inspect, maintain, and service draft system components including faucets, couplers, regulators, FOBs, glycol chillers, and kegs.
Conduct chemical cleaning, purge processes, and sanitization to ensure beer freshness and taste quality.
Install new draft systems according to technical specifications and client requirements.
Configure gas systems (CO₂, mixed gases) and calibrate pressure settings for optimal pour quality.
Diagnose and resolve issues such as foaming, temperature fluctuations, pressure imbalances, blockages, and equipment failure.
Replace or repair system parts including lines, taps, regulators, and fittings.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure beer is served at the correct temperature, pressure, and carbonation.
Monitor system performance during site visits and provide recommendations for optimization.
Educate bar staff on proper draft system operation, beer handling, and basic troubleshooting.
Provide clear service reports and maintenance schedules.
High school diploma or technical certification (preferred).
Experience in draft beer systems, refrigeration, plumbing, or beverage dispensing (preferred but not mandatory—training can be provided).
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of CO₂ and gas safety.
Ability to work independently and manage service routes.
Good communication and customer-facing skills.
Valid driver’s license (if the role requires on-site visits).
