Job summary

A local pet care company in Singapore is looking for a full-time dog daycare staff member. Responsibilities include positive reinforcement training, managing daycare operations, and working closely with a small team. Responsibilities

• Communicate with dogs using positive reinforcement.
• Teach dogs basic commands & enrichment activities.
• Dog Safety: 2 staff monitors dog playgroups by reading dog body language.
• Dog Walks & Dog Parks: 2 staff take a group of dogs out for walks or off-leash dog park.
• Feed, clean up after and bathe dogs.
• Take pictures and update clients.
• Backup drive when any of the drivers are on MC.
• Oversee and manage all daycare operations including staff, clients.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn positive reinforcement and Force Free Training methods.
• Communicate with staff and clients with respect and kindness.
• Class 3A driving license (backup drive).
• Previous experience with dogs.
• Responsible and self driven.
• Love to work in a tight-knit team.
• Able to use mobile apps such as WhatsApp, Google Maps and Google Calendar.

Working hours

• Daycare is open on weekdays Mon to Fri. Weekends and PH are closed.
• Typical shift time is Mon-Fri 9:00a - 6:00p.
• 1 Sat monthly from 8a - 1p.
• Weekend WFH rotation (replying to customers via WhatsApp).
