Job summary

A dynamic technical services provider in Singapore is seeking a Document Control Specialist. The role involves managing project documentation, ensuring accuracy and quality, and collaborating closely with various departments. Candidates should possess at least 1 year of experience in the marine or offshore industry, with strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work independently are essential. This position is located at Seatrium Tuas Boulevard Yard.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year relevant working experience, preferably in marine/offshore industry.
  • Able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Project Documents Control Management.
  • Manage and control all project documentation, ensuring accuracy & quality.
  • Develop, maintain, and update document control systems and procedures.
  • Prepare regular reports on document control status and activities.
  • Track and monitor the progress of document submissions and approvals.
  • Coordinate with project team to ensure compliance of all documentation.

Job Descriptions
  • Responsible for Project Documents Control Management
  • Manage and control all project documentation, ensuring accuracy & quality.
  • Develop, maintain, and update document control systems and procedures.
  • Prepare regular reports on document control status and activities.
  • Track and monitor the progress of document submissions and approvals
  • Working closely with the Project Engineer and actively liaise with production department, Project Management Department/ Owner/ Class & Regulatory Bodies as required to process documentation flow and delivery.
  • Undertake any other ad‑hoc project/duties assigned.
  • Control and manage incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Responsible for fall inventory of documentation & its easy retrieval.
  • Review and maintain the accuracy of records, updating where necessary to ensure they are up to date.
  • Coordinate with project team to ensure compliance of all documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year relevant working experience, preferably in marine/offshore industry
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organization skill on documentation control
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skill
  • Able to work independently.
