Job summary

A leading educational support provider seeks an experienced individual to manage student disciplinary cases in Singapore. The role involves guiding students, conducting investigations, and working with educational institutions. Candidates should have a background with the Singapore Police Force or equivalent and possess skills in case management and communication. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and valid first-aid certification is required for this on-site position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with SPF, Prisons, or CNB in investigations.
  • 1 year of experience in student case management in education.
  • Ability to converse well in English.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and investigate student disciplinary and security-related cases.
  • Act as case manager from case initiation through investigation and closure.
  • Guide students to understand their actions and take responsibility.
  • Present investigation findings to the client Student Discipline Committee or other appointed forums.
  • Ensure disciplinary sanctions are properly carried out and completed.
  • Provide follow-up support and counselling to student offenders.
  • Refer students to internal or external agencies when further assistance is required.
  • Support client staff during student discipline matters and emergency situations.
  • Assist in reviewing and improving discipline policies, systems, and preventive programmes.
  • Maintain disciplinary records, statistics, and prepare reports for management.
  • Coordinate disciplinary hearings, documentation, and related administrative duties.
Job Requirments
  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience as an ex-Singapore Police Force (SPF), Prisons or Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) Officer in investigation operations.
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in student case management and investigation in educational institutions.
  • Well-groomed and able to converse well in English.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and willing to learn other IT skills.
  • Willing to work with youth.
  • Have valid standard first-aid certification with CPR-AED prior to commencement of work.
  • Relevant qualification and/or experience in the field of counselling (minimally a para-counsellor) will be an advantage.
