Qualifications

  • Min 10 years of professional experience within front end semiconductor.
  • Min 5 years of working experience as line manager leading a team of up to 10 worldwide.
  • Deep understanding of product engineering and front end technology is a MUST.
  • Experience with big data is an added advantage.
  • Excellent English and Chinese communication skills required.

Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
  • Strategic Leadership and Team Management: Leads a team of engineers and manages product teams globally, driving organizational goals and achieving cost savings through structural yield improvements.
  • Yield Management and Technical Expertise: Provides expertise in yield engineering, overseeing yield indices across foundries and test houses in APAC and Europe to ensure high product quality and timely delivery.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Oversees departmental budgets, resource allocation, and staff development, ensuring efficient use of funds and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Digitalization and Innovation: Spearheads digitalization efforts, implementing AI/ML technologies to enhance data-driven decision-making and improve engineering scalability in the APAC region.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Fosters strong relationships with cross-functional teams, enhancing collaboration and resolving complex technical issues effectively.
  • Data Science Integration: Integrates new data science capabilities into the yield platform, promoting advanced analytics for better decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Operational Efficiency in APAC: Manages and improves operational processes, utilization, and resource management, ensuring optimal performance across the region.
  • People Development and Feedback: Invests in team feedback and development, driving continuous improvement and career progression within the department.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
  • Min Degree in Business or Master in Electronic Engineering, Physics, Material Science etc or similar
  • Min 10 years of professional experience within front end semiconductor
  • Min 5 years of working experience as line manager in leading a team up to 10 team members worldwide
    Deep understanding of product engineering and front end technology is a MUST
  • Experience in working with big data is added advantage
  • Excellent English and Chinese skills is required to communicate with counterparts who are Chinese speaking
