Director of Cybersecurity

Position: Director of Cybersecurity

Experience: 10+ Years

The Opportunity

We are conducting a search for a Director of Cybersecurity to lead a mission‑critical security function for a high‑volume, multi‑platform organization. This role is designed for a strategic leader who excels at harmonizing security operations across diverse business units, including Digital Platforms, Global Connectivity, and Financial Ecosystems.

The successful candidate will move beyond traditional "perimeter defense" to architect a resilient security posture that protects millions of real‑time transactions and high‑value consumer data points in an "always‑on" environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unified Security Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity roadmap that protects a hybrid ecosystem of cloud‑native platforms, high‑speed networks, and transactional databases.

  • Resilience & 24/7 Operations: Direct a high‑performing Security Operations Center (SOC). Ensure 100% operational uptime for consumer‑facing services where downtime has immediate financial and reputational impact.

  • Compliance at Scale: Navigate complex, multi‑jurisdictional regulatory landscapes, ensuring the organization meets or exceeds international standards (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS v4.0, and regional data privacy mandates).

  • Innovation & AI Defense: Oversee the integration of AI‑driven threat detection and automated response systems to counter increasingly sophisticated, machine‑speed cyber threats.

  • Executive Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to the Board and C‑suite, translating complex technical risks into clear business narratives and strategic investment cases.

Candidate Profile
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Information Security, with a proven track record in a leadership, managerial level capacity.

  • Cross‑Industry Fluency: While the specific sector is confidential, experience in high‑growth industries such as Telecommunications, Digital Entertainment/Gaming, or Financial Services/Fintech is highly advantageous.

  • Technical Breadth:

    • Proven experience securing High‑Volume Transaction Platforms.

    • Deep understanding of Network Infrastructure (SDN, 5G, or Core Connectivity).

    • Mastery of Zero Trust Architecture and Cloud‑Native Security.

  • Regulatory Expertise: Demonstrated success in managing compliance for heavily regulated, data‑rich environments.

  • Certifications: CISSP is mandatory. CISM, CISA, or CCISO are preferred.
