Job Summary:
Based in Singapore, the Director, Corporate Strategy will take on responsibility for active development of Group Strategy and diverse strategy projects. Asia represents a key pillar of our client's growth strategy and will be the primary geographic focus of your role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for Group Strategy development worldwide and develop strategies to boost growth in APAC for our client's existing business areas (Pharma, Supply Chain and Technologies) as well as potential new businesses, including organic growth, collaborations and M&A.
- Lead strategy projects or sub-projects at corporate or business area level in interdisciplinary teams.
- Manage and coordinate key elements of the Group-wide strategy process, including market and competitor analyses and develop and facilitate regional growth initiatives.
- Contribute to M&A projects together with a regional Director M&A, including definition of strategic search fields, creation of long- and shortlists based on strategic fit, analysis of strategic fit and business plans as well as development of value creation and TOM/PMI concept (incl. PMO support).
- Prepare decision-making materials for the Executive Board.
- Your office will be based at in Singapore, which is the Group's regional headquarters.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- Degree in business administration, engineering, or natural sciences with strong technical affinity; ideally complemented by an MBA or PhD as well as international experience
Experience:
- At least six years of professional experience, including a strong foundation from a top-tier management consultancy (e.g., MBB) and ideally complemented by first experience gained in Corporate Strategy / Development of an international industrial group.
- Proven track record of successfully delivered strategy projects (please specify in your application).
- Strong technical and methodological expertise combined with a pragmatic, hands‑on mentality.
- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills.
- Ability to present complex topics clearly and in a target‑group‑oriented manner.
- Strong communication skills, professional presence, and team spirit.
- High level of initiative, flexibility, and commitment.
- Willingness to travel regularly.
Sector Experience:
- Industry knowledge in mechanical engineering and software is a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent command of Microsoft 365 (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Business‑fluent English (written and spoken) and native‑level proficiency in an Asian language (e.g., Mandarin or Hindi); additional languages such as German are an advantage.
