Job summary

A dietary care organization in Singapore is seeking an Accredited Dietitian to conduct nutrition screenings and formulate personalized care plans. The successful candidate will evaluate nutritional needs, monitor patient progress, and participate in community initiatives. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, complete a clinical dietetic internship, and be a member of the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association. Qualifications

  • Must be a member of the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association (SNDA).
  • Hold valid annual certification as an Accredited Dietitian in Singapore.

Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct nutrition screenings using validated tools to assess patient risk levels and determine care priorities, in line with established Nutrition Care Standards of Practice.

  • Carry out thorough nutritional evaluations using appropriate techniques.

  • Analyze assessment findings and apply dietetic knowledge to identify nutrition-related issues that can be addressed or improved through dietary interventions.

  • Formulate personalized nutrition care plans and deliver interventions such as dietary counseling tailored to the patient’s health condition and nutritional needs.

  • Monitor patients’ progress and adjust nutrition care plans accordingly through follow-up consultations.

  • Take part in the ongoing planning, implementation, and refinement of nutrition-related initiatives and programs, such as community outreach and group education efforts.

  • Stay current with evidence-based practices by reviewing scientific literature and participating in professional development opportunities, including workshops and conferences.

  • Fulfil any additional tasks as required.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, and has successfully completed a clinical dietetic internship of no less than 24 weeks at a recognized institution

  • A member of the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association (SNDA) and to hold a valid annual certification as an Accredited Dietitian in Singapore.
