Job summary

A leading card game company in Singapore seeks a candidate to oversee the development and production of card game products while liaising with Japanese companies. The role requires strong communication skills in English and Japanese, attention to detail, and the ability to manage schedules effectively. Preferred candidates have relevant experience and knowledge in games or anime. Open to travel for business trips, and must be available on weekends for company events.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a diploma or degree in any field.
• 1-2 years relevant working experience preferred.
• JLPT N3 competency in Japanese required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and oversee development and production of card game products.
• Liaise with Japanese companies for product development.
• Translate and localize products from Japanese to English.

• Schedule and oversee development and production of card game products
• Liaise with Japanese companies for development and production of card game products
• Translate and localize products from Japanese to English
• Proofread localized text and product designs

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field
• Candidate with 1-2 years of relevant working experience would be preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese, both written and oral, in order to liaise with Japanese speaking associates daily (Minimum JLPT N3 competency required)
• Meticulous and attentive to details
• Excellent at schedule management and multi-tasking
• Have some knowledge in games or anime
• Adept at working both independently and in a team
• Effective decision-making skills and strong problem-solving skills
• Sensitive to cultural and linguistic nuances
• Open to work on some weekends/public holidays for Company events
• Open to travel overseas for business trips when required

Good to Have

• Experience in playing Bushiroad’s trading card games (TCGs) will be a bonus
