Job description

We are seeking a proactive, service‑oriented Desktop Engineer to provide on‑site IT support and ensure smooth daily operations. The role involves hands‑on troubleshooting, system administration, vendor coordination, and support for IT projects, requiring a solid foundation in end‑user support, basic networking, and independent problem‑solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver on‑site helpdesk support, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Perform Active Directory administration, including domain and GPO management.
  • Conduct standard client system setup, patching, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and clients to resolve issues and support project delivery.
  • Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, new deployments, and office relocations.
  • Manage IT assets, procurement administration, and maintenance contracts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system changes.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Provide end‑user training and briefings.
Requirements
  • 1–2 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk.
