Job description

• Working experience and authorities code compliance knowledge on D&B Plant building in Singapore.
• Good technical knowledge and experience in
  • Preparing Methodology and work sequence for both Architectural and structural works.
  • Preparing Interfacing detailing and Coordinate shop drawing for both Architectural and structural works.
  • Comment and certifying shop drawings from subcontract works.
  • Comment and certifying As-built drawings from subcontract works.
  • To chair and managing the regular subcontract design consultation meetings (Architects/Structure/M&E/Landscape architect/lighting consultant/security by design etc)
  • Good Contractual awareness in identifying and raising design variation works to contract department for EOT and variation claim.
  • Evaluates and assess subcontractor’s technical design variation proposal.
  • Correspondence in regards to design matters.
  • To resolve site technical interfacing matters.

Requirements

• At least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master’s Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Architecture or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering – Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Good and proactive communication skills with clients, design consultants, authorities and in house D&B sub-consultants.
• Self-initiative and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
