About the Role

Design Engineer / Deputy Design Engineer to support the design and technical delivery of geotechnical and reclamation projects. The role involves performing engineering analyses, reviewing design submissions, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design of reclamation, retaining structures, marine foundations, and geotechnical works.
  • Perform geotechnical analysis, slope stability assessments, soil-structure interaction, and settlement calculations.
  • Review drawings, design calculations, method statements, and technical specifications.
  • Liaise with project engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve design and site coordination issues.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and design deliverables for submission to clients and regulatory authorities.
  • Support senior design engineers or project managers in project planning, coordination, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and international best practices in geotechnical and marine civil engineering.
  • Participate in site visits and provide technical guidance during construction or reclamation activities.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Offshore/Marine Engineering.
  • 3 years of experience in geotechnical, marine, or offshore reclamation projects.
  • Knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, slope stability, and coastal/marine works.
