Job description

Assist the Managing Director in strategizing, planning, and leading the organization to meet objectives and targets, contributing to the overall profitability and growth of Pioneer.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Oversee and manage key business with automotive customers (OEM) in ASEAN, Taiwan, Middle East, Africa, and Oceania.
  2. Handle product scope including IVI systems, display audio, sound systems, dashcams, and other sensor products.
  3. Develop and implement long, mid, and short-term strategies for business expansion, particularly with Japanese automotive customers in each country.
  4. Achieve sales targets and other KPIs such as acquiring RFQs/RFIs.
  5. Lead and manage the team responsible for sales in ASEAN, Taiwan, Middle East, Africa, and Oceania.
Job Requirements
  • Graduate level of intellect, preferably with a higher professional degree in management or electronics.
  • Over 20 years of sales experience in the Japanese automotive OEM segment for car audio products.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Japan headquarters (sales and engineeringdepartments).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with top management and key technical personnel in Japanese automotive companies.
  • Team management experience for over 20 people in ASEAN countries.
  • At least 10 years of senior-level experience in managing people and resources, preferably in an MNC environment.
  • Experience in establishing business goals and strategies.
  • Highly driven with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent leadership qualities, collaborative with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Japanese (written and spoken) with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders in Japan HQ and subsidiaries in the ASEAN region, including UAE, and Australia.
