Job summary

Job description
Main Job Responsibilities
  • New products development.
  • Participate as a member in development projects with customers and research consortiums.
  • Conduct modifications to existing products to meet customers’ requirements.
  • Engage in technology transfer to production and grade transfer from other Sumitomo Bakelite’s plant.
  • Engage in plant cross functional team be it related to plant issues or customer issues
  • Handle various customers and certification audits.
  • Co-ordinate and conduct internal training on technical issues for various groups.
  • Conduct fundamental research and new process evaluation study.
  • Supervise On-the-job-training for new engineers.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Degree in Material Science, Chemical Process or Engineering discipline.
