Planning

• Proactively promote new business initiatives aligned with the strategic policies of the APBU.
• Analyze the business environment in key domains such as asset management, private equity, and real estate within the Asia Pacific region.
• Develop strategies to reinforce existing businesses and identify high‑potential opportunities for new initiatives, ensuring alignment with Consumer Centric Business Development Unit's and Corporate Development Business Unit's policies.

Business Execution

• Lead discussions and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders to implement strategic plans.
• Manage operational tasks to strengthen business foundations and bring new initiatives to life.
• Collaborate closely with headquarters and regional teams, leveraging cross‑sector and cross‑functional capabilities.
• Support senior leadership and contribute to the growth and development of team members through active engagement and mentorship.

Job Requirements

1. Demonstrated ability to uphold compliance and integrity independently.
2. Investment background with a minimum of 10 years of experience in an investment‑related firm or team.
3. Proactive leadership skills, capable of managing the organization and assigned responsibilities while serving as a proxy to the General Manager.
4. Fluency in Japanese (both spoken and written) required to directly liaise with HQ teams in Japan HQ and collaborate with Japanese partners on joint projects.
5. Willingness to travel across the APAC region, averaging at least once per month.
