About the role

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Dental Assistants to join our team at Beam Dental, a growing dental practice in Punggol North-East Region. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the highest level of patient care. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development within our dynamic and patient-focused organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and providing other chairside support
2. Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
3. Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are fully stocked with necessary materials
4. Greeting and welcoming patients, and guiding them through the check-in process
5. Updating patient records and scheduling appointments
6. Performing basic laboratory tasks, such as taking impressions and pouring models
7. Educating patients on proper oral hygiene and care

What we're looking for

1. Formal training or certification as a Dental Assistant, or equivalent experience
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
3. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment
