Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials, as well as assisting with administrative duties when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment room for patients
- Prepare patients for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping them
- Provide instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area
- Provide materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments
- Provide diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies, and pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts
- Completing preventive maintenance of dental equipment
- Maintain dental supplies inventory by checking stocks to determine inventory level
- To multitask at the reception and other admin duties if required
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Clinic Coordinator
Job Requirements
- NITEC in Dental Assisting preferred
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong team player with willingness to learn
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic clinic environment
- Warm, cheerful and optimistic personality and empathetic by nature
- Proficiency in spoken Chinese is an advantage (to assist Mandarin-speaking patients)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about providing outstanding patient experience
Job Highlights
- 5.5 days a week
- No shift work - fixed hours
- Sundays off (Clinic is closed on Sundays)
