Roles & Responsibilities
Role description: A dedicated point of contact based at a client’s location, responsible for managing the overall relationship, communication, and delivery of IT services, ensuring alignment with client needs and expectations while fostering a strong working partnership on-site. This is a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution and completion of all projects and service delivery for clients based out of Asia. Their responsibilities often span strategic planning, team leadership, client management, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key roles and responsibilities of an Onshore Delivery partner
- Act as the trusted executive partner for Singapore-based clients, accountable for successful delivery of programmes and services across the account portfolio
- Own governance and financial performance (P&L, margins, growth pipeline) of assigned engagements, ensuring sustainable value for both client and provider
- Identify, qualify, and nurture new opportunities within existing accounts together with sales and solution teams, helping structure and close large deals
- Oversee financial governance of the portfolio: revenue, profitability, forecasting, change control, and investment decisions for pilots and innovation
Client Relationship Management
- Build C‑suite and senior stakeholder relationships, becoming a strategic advisor on transformation and operational excellence. Maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders at all levels, including decision-makers and technical teams.
- Proactively communicating project updates, challenges, and successes to clients.
- Define and run account-level governance: steerco meetings, operational reviews, and risk/issue management across delivery towers
- Managing client expectations and addressing concerns promptly.
- Shape multi‑year account strategy and roadmaps aligned to the client’s business priorities in Singapore and ASEAN
- Maintain high client satisfaction scores and redeemability by proactively addressing concerns and showcasing delivered value and outcomes
Project Delivery Oversight
- Monitoring project progress against timelines and budgets, identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.
- Ensuring quality standards are met throughout project execution.
- Ensure end‑to‑end delivery quality and SLA/KPI adherence by orchestrating regional and global teams (onshore Singapore plus offshore/nearshore centers).
- Coordinating with remote IT teams to deliver project deliverables on time.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with project delivery. Developing contingency plans to address potential issues.
- Managing project financials, ensuring profitability, and controlling costs.
Leadership and Team Management
- Managing and motivating the onsite IT team, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Provide executive escalation management, driving resolution on critical incidents and programme risks and restoring client confidence when needed.
- Facilitating collaboration between onsite and remote teams.
- Managing and directing teams of Project Managers and potentially other delivery-focused roles, including remote or offshore teams
- Overseeing resource allocation and staffing to ensure projects are adequately supported.
